I tried it. No fees whatsoever. But like most free to play MMORPGs there are premium content and priviledges that paying users have access to. I tested it, chatted up with a vaguely mexican and gay-looking dude named Joey, tried to learn a skill, then got bored and logged off. It's more boring than real life.
Also, their free server is always going down. I think stable servers are part of the premium content package.

Vatican ups the ante, makes it easier to go to hell
Think you've already got a ticket straight to heaven, don't you? The seven deadly sins were very easy to avoid, it's almost like you're playing god's morality game with GOD MODE enabled. You didn't care much for pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed and that stupid piece of shit sloth.
According to the vatican, you can just go ahead and screw your damn self.
Bloomberg reports that the Vatican has recently put together a list of seven new "social" sins in addition to the original seven deadly ones.
"You offend God not only by stealing, taking the Lord's name in vain or coveting your neighbor's wife, but also by wrecking the environment, carrying out morally debatable experiments that manipulate DNA or harm embryos,'' said Bishop Gianfranco Girotti, head of the Apostolic Penitentiary.
The new seven social sins are:
1. ``Bioethical' violations such as birth control
2. ``Morally dubious'' experiments such as stem cell research
3. Drug abuse
4. Polluting the environment
5. Contributing to widening divide between rich and poor
6. Excessive wealth
7. Creating poverty
Numbers 1 and 2 deserve at least an eyeroll emoticon. Number 6, though, grabbed my attention. "Excessive wealth". I guess the Vatican is going to hell. Those guys seem excessively rich.
